Here, I will present you a very new band from Elsinore of Denmark. Our friends were formed in the beginning of 2006 and this is their first recording. As they write to us, their first live activity will take place on the 27th of July and they will also take part at Helsingorfestivalen in 9th and 11th of August. Some months before (February 07) they passed the doors of the studio and we now have this demo.
Consisted of three songs plus one intro, their music is a mix of thrash metal, death vocals, hardcore parts (in drums) and some nice melodic classic metal (I would say) riffs. Some SLAYER riffs are obviously present and if you listen carefully you will see some NEVERMORE references, too.
Enough parts in their songs are very good. Hate Myself has a nice riff 'under' it's refrain and ends with a solo which is not bad at all. The basic idea reminds me of SLAYER, which also does in the beginning of Question My Believing. From its middle and after the song calms down with a very nice idea. In this part all instruments are great. After this calmness we have another reaping thrash riff. The last song I would say it's the best, because as soon as it starts off, my 'air guitar' explodes!!!
It's very clear that the band make their primary steps and there is a lot of work to be done. They have nice riffs; if all these can stuck together better their songs will be even better. Anyway, their demo wasn't bad and now I wanna hear their next step. Good luck with the gigs guys. Metal!
