Metal maniacs, rejoice! I'm proud to present to you: BARB WIRE DOLLS; signed via Motörhead Music, hailing from Greek grounds - performing Grunge/Punk Rock, on their 4^th album entitled "Rub My Mind" (released 2017).

Since formation in 2010; the quintet in question have 3 albums behind them, I offered to review their latest deliverance - "Rub My Mind". A constructively distinctive dose are hard-hitting psychedelic Rock intrigues; fused with a Grunge incentive, I jam to a enjoyably illuminate design of enlightening harmonic instrumentation. 13 tracks, ranging at around 45 minutes - the quartet provide a progressive yet simplistic formula of fulfilling songwriting attributions. Opening with "Back In The U.S.S.A.", BARB WIRE DOLLS diligently pull you in with a catchy substance of an organically composed aesthetics. Isis Queen on vocals showcases high-pitched yells that sounds a little rough around the edges, yet still sings with passion in her voice. Performed with graceful proficiency, the vocalist has a broad perspective of dynamic lyricism and a powerful vocal range to boot.

"If I Fall" implements a captivatingly complex musicianship process; featuring dexterous guitarists Pyn Doll on the leads and Remmington Pearce on the rhythms, both construct efficient riffs that gallop with an intense array of variety. "Desert Song" has a similar advancement, both contrive in a ingeniously executed slab of solidity - contributing to the Grunge/Punk Rock sub-genre with dominance.

"Hole Of Isolation" continues this original and memorable sound production as powerhouse members Iriel Blaque on bass and Krash Doll on drums deliver a pummeling exercise in crushing prominence. "Gold" excels with more elegant adroitness as all members have a groovy formulaic of enticing creativity, while "Call Me" has a conceptual element of dramatic story telling in our every day lives. "We Are Champions", contrasts in more exquisite complexions of ripping craftsmanship, up beating with compelling finesse and sufficiency. Even first time through the record, "Rub My Mind" gets satisfyingly addicting. "Edge Of Innocence" distributes more variations of adapt subtleties and can only get better from here on out, the band are a succulent slice of consistent divisions of musical clarity. "Fade Away" slows things down a bit with cutting edge salubriousness, meeting my original expectations with higher ones.

The great Lemmy Kilmeister (R.I.P.) signed BARB WIRE DOLLS personally via his own record label: Motörhead Music; I can see why he did this as I approach the next track "Contract", developing more luscious arrangements that has me in a memorized state. You can really hear the Grunge executions in which magnificently excels with an atmospheric Punk Rock experience, it's a great fusion performed with professionalism.

"Where Mountains Drink Wine", "Fire To Burn" & "Waiting To Be Lost" (longest on the record at 7:04) concludes "Rub My Mind" as BARB WIRE DOLLS shine on with coherent capabilities in transitioning a completely unique juxtaposition of Grunge and Punk Rock expertise. If you love your Punk Rock with a slice of Grunge formalities, this is a band for you. Certainly worth checking out at least once.<
