1349 - Beyond The Apocalypse album cover

1349 is killer fast Black Metal band from Norway. They've been reborn from the ashes of Alvheim.
Their music is full of brutality and excellent speed. Of course they've got a very well known drummer on their roster, who's none other than Frost (Satyricon) which brings to my mind the latest, briliant Keep Of  Kalessin.
They gained my attention not for their excellent drumming but for the amazing speed performed in every track. This album's really a power drill. It's got a fantastic atmosphere with pure Black Metal howls and raw, brutal guitars mixed with perfectly fitted furious blast beats. From the intro to the last riff, this album absolutely kills with it's supreme speed. Impure music - a masterpiece only for Black Metal freaks.
In my opinion, the best song off "Beyond The Apocalypse is Necronatalenheten and reminds me a lot of old school Black Metal. A very good release!
