May 15, 2017
MESHIAAKjust released the new single"The Mask of all Misery"for their upcoming and much anticipated second album.
You can listen it here:
In a thrash world gone metalcore, blackened or conversely, NWOBHM-scrappy, MESHIAAK is ready to release egregiously confident and "old soul" records that evokes the magic of albums like Ride the Lightning, Rust in Peace, South of Heaven and Burn My Eyes.
Formed in Melbourne, Australia by 4ARM's Danny Camilleri and Teramaze's Dean Wells, bassist Nick Walker and rhythmic weapon Jon Dette, of Iced Earth, Slayer, Testament and Anthrax they combine formidable elements of progressive metal and thrash on debut album 'Alliance of Thieves' which was released in the summer of 2016 on Mascot Label Records.
Upon release of their first album "Alliance of Thieves", it received praise for its exceptional marrying of the two genres with brooding and smouldering undertones. Called "sophisticated" by Metal Hammer, "incredible" and "astounding" by Powerplay and "brutal" by Rhythm magazine it sets the tone for what is going to be a phenomenally frenetic live show.
The lead guitarist, Dean Wells, was also recently endorsed by Acacia Guitars.
He had this to say on the matter:
"I am extremely excited & proud to announce that i am now Endorsed by Acacia Guitars, Built in California (U.S.A.). Acacia will also be releasing a "Dean Wells Signature Series Romulus Custom Guitar" (!) my mind is blown! Stay tuned for more details! Thank you!
Featuring:
Dean Wells (Teramaze)
Danny Camilleri (4ARM)
