MASTODONvocalist and guitaristBrent Hinds, who likes to blow off steam by doing some wood carving in his spare time, has been working on a new sculpture of a large penis.

The "giant pawnus," asHindscalled it onInstagram, isBrent's first carving in over a year.

The cover artwork forMASTODON's 2011 album"The Hunter"was created byAJ Fosik, a wood carver who was also responsible for the backdrop the band was using live.

MASTODON's sixth album,"Once More 'Round The Sun", sold around 34,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 6 on The Billboard 200 chart. The record arrived in stores on June 24 viaReprise Records.
