British thrash legends LAWNMOWER DETH are due to play a special warm-up show in preparation for their appearance at this year's 'Download' festival in the UK. LAWNMOWER DETH reunited in 2008 and played a successful set at last year's edition of 'Download', leading to the band being asked back for more thrashing madness this year.

In preparation for 'Download', LAWNMOWER DETH will be playing an intimate and in-your-face warm-up show on June 5th at Crabtree's in Harrogate with support from SOLITARY and special guest Keith Platt. For ticket information, call the venue on 01423 521512.

LAWNMOWER DETH vocalist Pete Lee comments:

"We're reliably informed that Harrogate isn't at all posh, and is in fact the epicenter of rock. Like moths to the flame we were drawn to its charms, spa waters and outright bribery of cash."

LAWNMOWER DETH are due to perform at 'Download' festival on Friday, 11th June on the Pepsi Max Stage. For more information, go to www.downloadfestival.co.uk.
