Magmafröst is a dark fantasy concept about the classic conflict of "Fire & Ice", which has been revisited using characters and situations taken from fantasy tales by authors like Tolkien, rotoscoped animations by Ralph Bakshi, movies like Dark Crystal, Norse mythology and Medieval folktales. Magmafröst describes a distant multiverse where characters from different fantasy worlds coexist.

Kröwnn was formed in the summer of 2012, with the intention of playing an old school oriented doom metal, stylistically close to the member's favourite bands of the genre. Lyrics are based on the fantasy worlds created by great authors such as Howard, Moorcock, Tolkien and Martin.
Their first demo titled "Hyborian Age" , recorded in only 6 hours, was released in 2013 and supported by Magnitogorsk track videoclip, which is available on Youtube.
During 2014 they shared the stage with great bands like Yob, Pallbearer, Grime, Zodiac and they recorded the full-lenght "Magmafrost", an acclaimed album and very well reviewed by international critics, blogs, webzines and top charts. The limited edition LP is now going to be released in July 2015 by Italian independent label Taxi Driver Records.
