KONTRA, the Italian Thrash Metal band from Naples that was only active from 1999 to 2007, made a reunion recently.

The band that was influenced by both Bay Area Thrash and German Thrash Metal is now composed of 3 members; the only original member remaining is singer/rhythm guitar player and founder of the band, Marco Barraco. KONTRA played live on many stages in Naples and suburbs, produced also 2 demos: "Strike Zero" in 2003 (limited to only 100 copies) and "Demo 2005"... The latter was unfortunately never published, because the band did eventually split up.
