Released in June 2014, Harangue's second EP, "By the Strength of the Mighty Atlas" was recorded, mixed and mastered by Collin Young at B Town Sound in Burlington, ON, and features guest vocals from Lance Marwood (Pretty Mouth) and Nathaniel Jonathan "NJ" Borreta (Hammerhands). The full release is available for free download at Harangue's Bandcamp page.
"There's a jagged mathcore quality to the way that the riffs are put together, and Michael Kopko's raw, broken screaming evokes the dangerous near-loss of control that Botch excelled at."
TORONTOIST
"The more brawny moments, such as opener "Denmark," bring to mind the pummelling of Coalesce, while others recall a more primitive Botch or Norma Jean.
The Toronto group pay tribute to their forebears, and manage to do a pretty good job at it, too."
EXCLAIM
"Harangue spews vicious condemnation here with conviction. I imagine it lands more on the abstract side of the tracks. Either way, it is released with unapologetic vengeance that needs to be heard."
