As a sneak preview on their upcoming record »We're All Gonna Die«, New York City Thrashers GENERATION KILL have just released a lyric video for the track 'Prophets Of War', which is available to watch here:
Stated vocalist Rob Dukes: "I wrote 'Prophets Of War' after watching the documentary 'The world according to Dick Cheney'. He is such a delusional man with absolutely no conscience. Pure fucking evil. I guess I've always known they don't really care about anyone but themselves but this cemented the realization into my soul that every soldier that dies or is wounded, weighs nothing on this man's conscience. He takes no responsibility at all, and it's all about money. Money and power."
GENERATION KILL recently revealed the artwork & track listing for their second studio album, which was produced byZeuss (HATEBREED, AGNOSTIC FRONT, MUNICIPAL WASTE) and will be out on November 15 (EU), November 18 (UK) and November 26 (US) via Nuclear Blast. The band's name, GENERATION KILL derives from the 2004 novel (also an HBO mini-series), written by Rolling Stone journalist Evan Wright. »We're All Gonna Die« is a big time jump forward musically for the Band who show they can stay true to themselves while still taking risks and pushing the limits of the Band and their songwriting.
