Pertaining to the song "A man without identity" from the band's latest conceptual album "The Amazing Ascendancy versus Count Illuminatus", the new music video features a stunning mix of CGI and live action, while presenting the key moment in the album's storyline, that is, the birth of the chief antagonist of the story, Count Illuminatus.

The music video was created by brothers Radim and Vladislav Bartoň, filmmaking enthusiasts from Vsetín, belonging to the team around our MetalGate Studio which is based there. These guys spent the better part of last year crafting all the CG scenes and effect from scratch, directing the live action, as well as building all the props, striving for the maximum possible level of detail and sophistication.

In short, the new music video of ASCENDANCY combines the epic compositions of progressive power metal with a fast-paced action movie, giving a new dimension to both. Well worth the watch.
