Agent Fresco Singer Arnór Dan Arnarson On Making The Video:

"Baldvin Z, the Icelandic award winning director (Life in a Fishbowl) who also directed our video for "Tempo" initially called me to congratulate us on our new album and our talk led us quickly to the idea of a new collaboration. I knew that we had to work with the song HOWLS and we both thought it would be fun to try and use that triumphant sound and visually captivate the magical atmosphere before and during our sold out release concert at the Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavik, where Destrier was performed in its entirety by a total of 15 musicians. This video is meant to be a tribute to our dear friends who joined us on stage and to the audience who made this an unforgettable experience.

We're also very happy to announce that the entire concert was recorded by the Icelandic TV station Stöð 2 and it will be premiered later this year! Baldvin actually single handedly presented and sold the idea to Stöð 2 without even talking to us in the first place, haha! A mad talent and a great guy indeed!

When it came to the editing and colour correction, we instantly went back to Kári Jóhannsson and Gísli Þór Brynjólfsson, who also helped us in creating the official videos for See Hell and Wait For Me. Fantastic guys who just know how to collaborate with artists in a professional and easy manner. I can't praise them enough for their help and hopefully this won't be the last time that we all work together."

Guitarist Þórarinn Guðnason On Writing "Howls":

"I believe that Howls was the last song that I wrote for Destrier. I realised that everything I had been composing up to that moment had been quite melancholic. I had just gotten out of a long relationship and that may have had some impact on my songwriting. It was then when I made the decision that the final song should be in a major key, be triumphant and sound as energetic as possible. I even arranged trumpets for this song that our good friend Bergur Þórisson recorded for us." Singer Arnór Dan adds, "Lyrically I always chase whatever emotions the instrumental composition feeds me and the obvious joy and energy that's going on just instantly reminded me of how naive and dangerous the relationship to nostalgia can be. The song serves as a personal escape to dreamy days of innocence and the words and melodies are meant to be sugarcoated enough for the listener to realise that the story is just a selective romantic cloud and not something to lean on. It's a seductive illusion that's fun to toy with and performing this song live makes me feel like a kid again."
