Rambouillet, France's PITBULLS IN THE NURSERY ( Tersim Backle ' Vocals, Jerome Farion ' Drums, Francesco Ugarte ' Bass, Saim Thevenet ' Guitar/Sitar, Mat Commun ' Guitar) formed in 2001 and play a progressive death-metal with some experimental twists, combining pummelling, groovy rhythms with intense, complex guitar riffs and the ethereal sounds of the sitar. It's a unique and mesmerising mix of Death, Gojira, Meshuggah and Ravi Shankar that will leave no one indifferent.
The French collective is now ready to unleash their new full-length album "Equanimity", nine years after the release of their debut album "Lunatic" and a few line-up changes. Recorded at Dark Wizard Studio and featuring 9 tracks, this new effort sees PITBULLS IN THE NURSERY evolving towards a more progressive death-metal sound, blending the technical and powerful elements of groups like Death and Atheist with some ethereal, contemplative atmospheres created by the unique instrument that is the sitar.
