From the United Kingdom we have the Thrash Metal band EXXXEKUTIONER and their album "Death Sentence". While they are most assuredly a Thrash Metal band, I hear some Black Metal undertones. I am not the biggest fan of Thrash but these guys are pretty damn good. The opening song "Desekrator" is like SLAYER got together with EMPEROR and this was what came of it. Mike is wonderful on the guitars as well as Cliff on vocals. What really surprised me is that the drums played by Liam are really well played since drums are usually what kill Thrash for me. Ryan on the bass is also really good and I'm surprised I can actually hear a bassist in a Thrash band!

The second song "Mass Disorder" is a really well played and written song. I honestly enjoyed every second of it. All of the instruments work really well together and I was really happy the snare didn't over power the whole song. That is one thing that really bothers me about Thrash and they avoided it. "Death Worship" reminds me a hell of a lot of SLAYER'S "Seasons in the Abyss" at the beginning which is awesome. This song really gets the blood pumping and is one of my favorites off the album.

The next one that I would like to bring up is "Necromancy". This song has Black Metal written all over it. It is hands down my favorite off the album. I only wish it was a tad bit longer because this one had me banging my head non stop! But "Beyond the Grave" is just as much of a headbanger as the last song. I would say it is the albums Battle song.

All in all I really enjoyed this album, I think that this band has a bright future ahead of them. I actually look forward to hearing more from them when they put out another album. Great job guys and keep up the good work!
