Metal maniacs, rejoice! The Thrasher returns to present to you: VENDETTA INC., signed via GarageLive Records, hailing from Hungary – performing Groove Metal, and on their debut album entitled, "Blight".

Since formation in 2011; VENDETTA INC. have an EP entitled: "Bristle With Rage" (released in 2014). Fast-forward 3 years later, "Blight" unleashes upon the world on May 2^nd 2016. Implementing a kind of extreme balance of immensely groovy instrumentation that has impersonality's from quintets such as LAMB OF GOD, and OUTRIGHT RESISTENCE, this here quartet pummel my eardrums with excruciating force of oppressive intentions. The band in question is proficiently true to the sub-genre, while showcasing thrashy motives that I personally approve of greatly. Blast beating prominence excel to elegantly yet heavy as fuck thrashing power that begs one to headbang like a maniac. Going in with low expectations, I was heavily (no pun intended) surprised as soon as I played "Downtrodden". The sheer adeptness in this band compels me to give talent credentials where is due.

Consisting of Mátyás József on vocals transcends his vocal cords into utmost potential in which showcases competence of captivating efficiency. Barna Bartha on guitars riffs away with complex adroitness; with some unprecedented riffery that prominently explodes with power. Speaking of power...the excellent Nimród Nemes on bass pummels his way through the instrumentation that clarifies dexterity and flare; similarly found with Norbert Salgó on the drums, evidently crushing his mettle with extreme motives in mind. It's safe to say that if you love your Metal with some uncompromising attitude that once represented the greats; look no bloody further. The band's main goal is to remind today's Metal scene that once represented, and to bring it back to life...with that in mind; the band deliver just that. After my first listen; I was shockingly surprised thinking this was just another that who impersonates the greats - but boy was I wrong.

9 tracks of groovy excellence, ranging at around 44:35, sees a band that intends to blow your mind with positive effects. Songs like "Black Wolf", "Ashes" & "Shred Of Existence" start off the album...diminishing any negative thoughts immediately. All songs are made with a creative presence; proficiently intriguing yet addictive melodies of hard precision. "Wretched Mind", "Abyss" & "Relentless Descent" keep this intention going with a ferocious incentive to bang your head. I couldn't get enough of the hardcore influences that fuel this band quite honestly, and with that – the titular track, "Blight", and "A Sirig" end the record with epic results, this was a listen that went by very quickly, which is always a damn good thing. It's quite obvious that I enjoyed myself a heck of a lot, being free to listen to via their bandcamp, YouTube and so on...you can witness this magnificent record for yourself, you be the judge as it's most certainly worth checking out.<
