Parables of Umbral Transcendence
Swine Overlord

Although classified as Brutal Death Metal, this band doesn't quite take it as far as most do. Welcome to what is the creator of the H1N1 pandemic, the SWINE OVERLORD, now I was skeptical about listening to this when your vocalist literally sounds like a swine, it's not something I'm down for. SWINE OVERLORD do it differently, of course there are some sections that are to low vocally for my taste but it's not constant luckily.
"Celestial Purge" is your first real idea of what this band comes to hold, with the power and brutality of straight Death Metal with a few ultra guttural sections to secure their spot as a "Brutal" Death Metal band this song is full of ripping guitars, blastbeats (duh) and the ever so loved bass guitar that when you do hear it, it kills. A step in the other direction for fans of the ultra guttural stuff, "Porkchop, The Man-Butcher" is right up your alley. This song is full of straight heavy riffs, and crazy low indistinguishable vocals and a fury of blastbeats, it's something true "brutal" fans will really get into.
The album closes out with "Seeds Of A Treacherous Creation" I wish this was an instrumental, this would be awesome without the vocals but for me not being all that much into the super deeps, this song is half ruined when the vocals kick in. As stupid as it sounds being a huge fan of Black and Death metal, I like to be able to somewhat understand the lyrics without having to look them up.
All in all, this album may be for you but its sure as hell not for me. If you're a fan of the craziness that is considered to be Brutal Death Metal this is probably a release you'll be into. If you like to understand the lyrics without looking up every single last word its probably a skip.
