[MA GDPR YouTube] Invalid video id.In late 2014, the epic extreme metal band, Dawn of Dissolution, was born in the minds of two face-melting guitarists from the most northern reaches of Houston, Texas: Joseph Marduk and Andrew Carter. The music evolved from idea to reality when guttural growler Adrian Socaciu joined the project. The trio worked together to produce and release the band's debut EP, Nightfrost. Approximately two years, after the bands original inception, the amped-up blast beat machine, Cole Jones, and subsurface shredder/audio producer Vincent Mennella completed the band's lineup. Nightfrost was well received both locally and abroad, and it was also critical in helping the band secure supporting slots with national acts touring through Houston. Some of the touring acts Dawn of Dissolution has supported in Houston include Overkill, Nile, Luca Turilli's Rhapsody, Primal Fear, Sonata Arctica, and Omnium Gatherum.
Prophecy of Oblivion was produced, edited, and mixed by Vincent Mennella at his studio (Ir)Rational Audio in Houston, and the album was mastered by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Street Studios. With all the amazing bands Tony has worked with (Kreator, Soilwork, Barren Earth, In Vain, Myrath, Skamold, and other projects) he was an obvious choice for mastering. After the release of Prophecy of Oblivion, the band plans to be more active outside of Houston.
